- Membership Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for membership in the Iraqi Society for Histopathologists (ISHP) must fulfill one of the following requirements:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and General Surgery (MBChB or equivalent) and possess a recognized specialty qualification in Histopathology.
Or, be a certified and practicing Histopathologist with at least five (5) years of continuous professional experience in the field of histopathology.
Submit valid official documents verifying their academic qualifications and professional experience.
- Membership Application Procedure
Applicants wishing to join ISHP are required to follow the steps below:
Complete the official membership application form available on the Society’s website.
Medical degree certificate (MBChB or equivalent).
- Medical degree certificate (MBChB or equivalent).
- Specialty certificate in Histopathology or proof of professional practice.
- Valid medical council registration/license.
- Recent personal photograph.
Pay the prescribed membership fee (as determined by the Society).
Submit the application electronically through the website or in person to the Society’s Secretariat.
All applications will be reviewed by the Administrative Board, and applicants will be notified of the final decision.

Applicants for membership in the Iraqi Society of Histopathologists (ISHP) must fulfill one of the following requirements:
Full (Permanent) Membership
Granted to qualified specialists in Histopathology who meet the Society’s eligibility criteria and are actively practicing in the field.
Board Trainee Membership
Granted to physicians enrolled in an official Histopathology Board training program.
