The Al-Kindy College of Medicine – University of Baghdad hosted the first meeting of the Iraqi Society of Histopathology, attended by a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with society members.
Election of the Administrative Board
During the event, the Administrative Board was elected through a secret ballot conducted in the college’s conference hall, resulting in the selection of seven primary members and three alternate members.

This society is the first of its kind in Iraq for histopathologists and cytopathologists, representing the culmination of long-term efforts by specialists. Its objectives include:

- Enhancing diagnostic quality and elevating healthcare services nationwide
